Tennessee Orthopaedic Alliance (TOA) is seeking a Staff Nurse for Pre-Op and PACU at Parkwest Surgery Center. You will deliver nursing care, coordinate patient flow, and assure continuity of care from pre-op visit through post-operative follow-up.

Responsibilities include obtaining consent, vital signs, IV therapy, med administration, and documenting care; strong teamwork and clinical skills are required. Qualifications include RN license, BCLS/ACLS/PALS within six months, and 1 year

Qualificações

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current Tennessee state license.
• Membership in a professional organization preferred.
• Current BCLS, ACLS and PALS certified within six months of hire.

Responsabilidades

• Assumes primary role of patient's care delivery in Pre-Op and PACU.
• Coordinate flow of patients; nurse-patient ratio for Class I 1:2.5.
• Complete Pre-Op and PACU records in legible handwriting.
• Implement physician's orders; document nursing care.
• Perform post-anesthesia care; monitor vitals and conditions.
• Maintain airway and manage post-operative care and comfort.
• Discharge planning and patient/family support.
