The Cookeville Regional Medical Center is seeking a clinically competent PACU Registered Nurse to coordinate age specific care during the preoperative and immediate postoperative phases.

Responsibilities include wound maintenance, pain management, IV therapy, and timely updates to physicians. All RNs are expected to be on call and able to reach the hospital within 30 minutes of recall.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of professional nursing.
• Tennessee Nursing License is required.
• BSN or related health field preferred.

Responsabilités

• Coordinate age-specific care during preop and immediate postop phases.
• Wound maintenance and pain management during recovery.
• Iv therapy administration and monitoring during PACU stay.
• Provide timely updates to attending physicians/anesthesiologists.
• Be available for call and return to hospital within 30 minutes when recalled.
