Job summary

OrthoArizona is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse to deliver exceptional post-operative care across our facilities in the Chicago area. You will monitor patients after anesthesia, track vitals, manage pain and nausea, and coordinate with surgeons and PAs to ensure timely interventions.

We value confidentiality, professional appearance, and teamwork. Requires RN license, CPR certification, and orthopedic care knowledge; prior PACU or surgical floor experience strongly preferred.

Qualifications

• RN license required in good standing.
• Current CPR certification required.
• Experience in healthcare settings preferred.
• Knowledge of orthopedic care processes recommended.

Responsibilities

• Monitor post-operative patients' level of consciousness after anesthesia.
• Measure and record patients' vital signs regularly.
• Observe for anesthesia side effects and manage symptoms.
• Update charts and medical records accurately.
• Collaborate with medical team on post-operative care and interventions.
• Educate patients and families on post-surgery care.
