Job summary

UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial Hospital is seeking a Registered Nurse in the PACU, based in the greater Chicagoland area. This 100% onsite role offers a sign-on bonus up to $15,000 and requires PACU experience, BSN/ADN, Illinois RN licensure, and BLS certification.

The position is full-time (0.9 FTE) with alternating 10 am–10 pm shifts. Join a world-class academic healthcare system and contribute to high-quality patient care while supporting hospital operations and clinical collaboration

Qualifications

• Graduation from an accredited nursing program with BSN or ADN.
• Current RN licensure in Illinois or valid temporary permit to practice nursing in Illinois.
• Active BLS certification from the American Heart Association.

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to design and evaluate the plan of care and patient outcomes.
• Provide complex nursing care and delegate tasks to care team as appropriate.
• Monitor and improve patient care quality and satisfaction.
• Pursue professional development opportunities.
• Ensure daily operations of the Patient Care Center run efficiently.
