Job summary

UChicago Medicine Ingalls Memorial Hospital in Harvey, IL, is seeking a Registered Nurse (RN) for all units on a full- or part-time, onsite basis. Eligible for a sign-on bonus up to $15,000, plus tuition reimbursement and clinical ladder growth opportunities.

As an RN, you will coordinate direct patient care with an interdisciplinary team, serve as a clinical resource and mentor, and help shape a culture of excellence in patient care across the hospital system.

Qualifications

• ADN from an accredited nursing program.
• Current RN license through the Illinois Department of Professional Regulation (or valid temporary permit).
• Active BLS certification (American Heart Association).

Responsibilities

• Collaborate with physicians to assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care and outcomes.
• Perform advanced nursing skills and appropriately delegate care based on unit-specific competencies and patient age.
• Monitor and support quality of care and patient satisfaction.
• Lead daily unit operations in partnership with the Patient Care Team.
• Proactively meet the needs of patients, families, and physicians, exceeding expectations through strong customer relations.
• Uphold hospital policies, standards of care, and corporate compliance requirements.

About The Role

Compensation & Benefits Overview

The pay range is based on a full-time equivalent (1.0 FTE) and is reflective of current market data, reviewed on an annual basis. Compensation offered at the time of hire will vary based on candidate qualifications and experience and organizational considerations, such as internal equity.
