Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Las Colinas in Irving, TX is seeking a PRN PACU Registered Nurse to join our perioperative team. The RN PACU provides quality patient care using the nursing process and adheres to the medical plan of care and policies.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• Current Texas nursing license.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certification.
• Minimum 2 years of Pre-Op/PACU experience.
• Preferred ambulatory surgical setting experience.
• Strong knowledge of surgical procedures and aseptic technique.
• Ability to care for patients from infancy to geriatrics.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care using nursing process, the medical plan of care, and organizational policies.
• Provide safe, effective, and patient-family centered perioperative care for all patient populations.
• Support the mission, vision, and values of the organization.
• Reports to the Manager of Peri-Operative Services.
