Job summary

Baylor Scott & White Surgical Hospital Las Colinas in Irving, TX is seeking a Full Time PACU Registered Nurse to join our perioperative team. The RN PACU delivers quality patient care using the nursing process, supports the mission of BSWH-USPI, and provides safe, family-centered care in the postoperative setting.

Ideal candidates hold a Texas nursing license, current BLS, ACLS and PALS, and at least 2 years of Pre-Op/PACU experience; ambulatory surgery experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current TX Nursing License.
• Current BLS, ACLS and PALS.
• Minimum of 2 years' experience in Pre-Op/PACU.
• Ambulatory surgical setting experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of perioperative care.

Responsibilities

• Provide quality patient care using the nursing process and policies.
• Deliver safe, patient-family centered care in the perioperative services for all populations.
• Report to the Manager of Peri-Operative Services.
• Support BSWH-USPI partnership and hospital mission.
