Select Physicians Surgery Center in Tampa, Florida is seeking a Preoperative PACU Registered Nurse to provide continuous, safe care as patients recover from anesthesia. The PACU RN will assess, plan, implement, and evaluate patient care with attention to safety, comfort, and privacy throughout the recovery period.

Qualifications include graduation from an accredited RN program, active Florida RN license, BLS and ACLS (PALS if required), and 2 years PACU/critical care experience.

Formación

• Graduate of an accredited RN School of Nursing.
• Active RN license in the state of Florida.
• BLS and ACLS Required, PALS if required by the center.
• 2 years experience in PACU or Critical Care preferred.
• Ability to make decisions based on nursing judgment.

Responsabilidades

• Provide continuity and quality nursing care for patients emerging from general anesthesia or sedation.
• Continuously evaluate patient condition, ensuring safety, comfort and privacy.
• Assist physicians in procedure rooms with conscious sedation and sterile technique as needed.
• Perform assessment, planning, implementation and evaluation for discharge preparation.
