Job summary

Cooper Norcross Health is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to join its acute care teams, providing continuous patient care in designated units. You will evaluate, implement, and document nursing care while supporting physicians during exams and procedures.

The role requires a NLN-accredited nursing education, an active NJ RN license, BLS, and PALS within 3 months. Expect weekend, holiday, and on-call rotation as part of the schedule.

Qualifications

• Critical care nursing skills and knowledge.
• Ability to perform comprehensive patient assessments and document care.
• Ability to assist physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Proficiency in administering medications and utilizing the nursing process.

Responsibilities

• Assumes responsibility and accountability for a group of patients for a designated timeframe.
• Evaluates patients, implements, and documents nursing care.
• Assists physicians during examinations and procedures.
• Performs various patient tests and administers medications utilizing the nursing process.
• Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills.
• Weekend, holiday, and call rotation required.
