Job summary

CARIN Alliance is seeking a dedicated Registered Nurse to provide specialized nursing care in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit (PACU). The RN will assess patients, implement and monitor care plans, and serve as the primary liaison among the healthcare team to ensure safe, timely recovery.

Responsibilities include administering medications and treatments, coordinating discharge planning, educating patients and families, documenting progress, and adjusting care as patients respond.

Qualifications

• RN experience minimum of 1 year.
• Arizona nursing license or eligibility within 30 days.
• BLS certification required; ACLS/PALS/NRP preferred.
• Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork essential.

Responsibilities

• Assess patient conditions and monitor care plans.
• Coordinate discharge planning and care transitions.
• Administer medications and provide treatments.
• Educate patients and families about care and expectations.
• Maintain thorough documentation and safety throughout PACU stay.
