Job summary

Surgery Partners, Inc is seeking a Registered Nurse to provide patient care in the PACU, focusing on the immediate postoperative period. You will assess patients, communicate with surgeons and anesthesia teams, and document care delivered in the PACU.

The role requires CPR and ACLS certifications, with PALS within 90 days of hire, and a minimum of one year PACU or two years related experience. Schedule includes 3 day shifts weekly with Friday coverage two times per month.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• Current license to practice as a Registered Nurse in the State.
• Current CPR certification and current ACLS certification required; PALS certification required within 90 days of hire.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care in the immediate postoperative/post anesthesia period in PACU.
• Assess, communicate patient status with surgeon, physician and anesthesia providers, and document care given in PACU.
• Supervise and guide staff under the RN’s supervision; ensure standard of care for assigned patients.
