Monterey Peninsula Surgery Center Llc is seeking a dedicated PACU RN to join our Peri-Anesthesia Care Unit. You will assess patients after surgery, monitor vital signs, manage pain, and support safe recoveries in collaboration with the surgical team.

Qualifications

• Active CA RN license or ability to obtain one.
• Graduate of an accredited nursing program.
• BLS, PALS and ACLS certification required.
• Strong knowledge of perioperative nursing care principles and practices.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients post-surgery and assess condition including vital signs and pain.
• Administer medications and treatments as prescribed by physician.
• Provide education to patients and families regarding post-surgical care and recovery.
• Collaborate with surgical team to ensure continuity of care and smooth transitions.
• Maintain accurate and detailed patient records.
• Adhere to infection control policies and procedures.
