Job summary

MercyOne Clinton Medical Center is seeking a registered nurse to provide SDS/PACU care. You will deliver high‑quality nursing care, coordinate with the surgical team, and ensure patient safety during admission, transfer, and discharge.

Qualifications

• Associate degree in nursing is required.
• BSN is preferred.
• Current Iowa RN license is required.
• Operating Room experience is preferred.
• American Heart Association Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Provide individualized nursing care to patients of all ages.
• Coordinate care with physicians and the healthcare team.
• Deliver care in accordance with the Nurse Practice Act and MercyOne policies.
• Communicate effectively with staff, physicians, patients and families.
• Maintain patient records and use the hospital information system.
