Job summary

Community Surgery Center of Glendale is seeking a PACU Registered Nurse to join our team. You will provide safe pre- and post-operative care, assist in anesthesia recovery, patient teaching, and ensure high standards of patient experience and safety in a collaborative environment.

Requirements include California RN license, BLS, BSN or related field, and at least 2 years PACU experience; we offer a comprehensive benefits package and a 4x10s schedule with competitive hourly pay.

Qualifications

Current, unrestricted California RN license.
Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field, or equivalent combination of education and experience.
Current BLS certification.
Minimum of 2 years of PACU experience with direct patient care.

Responsibilities

Provide safe, age-appropriate pre- and post-operative nursing care and documentation.
Assess recovery from anesthesia and manage pain, airway, and complications.
Perform wound assessment, medication administration, and infection control.
Maintain aseptic technique and monitor vital signs, dressings, drains, and equipment.
Coordinate with team and communicate with patients with special needs.
