Job summary

TriStar Centennial Medical Center in Nashville is seeking a PACU Clinical Nurse Coordinator to lead post-anesthesia care, coordinating the shift and guiding the nursing team to deliver high-quality, patient-centered care. You will work with the management team to monitor outcomes and model the organization’s values.

The CNC will participate in admissions, staffing, training, and service-improvement initiatives, while upholding patient experience and clinical excellence.

Qualifications

• Must have Basic Cardiac Life Support within 30 days of start date.
• RN registered nurse with active license.
• Associate or Bachelor degree or RN diploma.
• Critical care nursing experience required.
• Leadership experience highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assists with admission and discharge to ensure throughput and high-quality care.
• Monitors, directs, and evaluates nursing care per policies.
• Collaborates with management to create teamwork and improve outcomes.
• Supports patient-first philosophy and engages in service recovery.
• Implements nursing strategies, rounds, and staff engagement initiatives.
• Provides recommendations for interviewing, training, evaluations, and disciplinary actions.
• Assists with staff scheduling and productivity management.
• Supports inventory control and equipment management.
