Job summary

Alameda Surgery Center in Burbank, CA, seeks a Registered Nurse for PreOp/PostOp full-time placement. The role covers care for patients emerging from anesthesia, with emphasis on safety, comfort, and discharge readiness. Schedule is Monday–Friday daytime; no call, nights, weekends, or holidays required.

Starting pay range is $48.00–$65.00 per hour, depending on experience, with comprehensive benefits including medical/dental/vision, PTO, 401k, and more.

Qualifications

• Current CA Nursing License.
• Current CPR and ACLS accreditation by AHA.
• Graduate of an accredited school of nursing.
• 2+ year PACU experience in a hospital setting.
• Excellent communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to adapt to change quickly and maintain patient safety.

Responsibilities

• Provide nursing care for post-anesthesia patients from PACU.
• Assess, plan, implement and evaluate patient care.
• Ensure patient safety, comfort and privacy at all times.
• Coordinate discharge planning and patient/family education.
