Job summary

Beebe Healthcare is seeking a highly skilled PACU Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive perioperative and post‑anesthesia care for surgical patients. You will monitor vitals, manage pain, and support airway and hemodynamic stability as patients recover from anesthesia.

The role emphasizes collaboration with anesthesiologists and surgical teams, adherence to nursing standards, and ongoing documentation. Experience in PACU or critical care is preferred, with required certifications listed in

Qualifications

Must possess current hospital experience within the past 5 years.
Must be a new graduate within the last 2 years acceptable.
Must complete Point of Care Testing training as part of Orientation.
Must be knowledgeable regarding the nursing process: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation.

Responsibilities

Medication & IV Therapy Management: safely identifies, labels, prepares, dispenses, and administers medications per policy.
Patient Assessment & Nursing Process: conducts assessment, planning, implementation, and evaluation.
Airway & Respiratory Management: performs airway assessments and provides respiratory support.
Cardiac & Hemodynamic Monitoring: uses monitoring systems and manages invasive lines.
Pain Management: assesses and implements pain relief measures per protocol.
