Job summary

Cedar Hill Regional Medical Center is seeking an experienced PACU Registered Nurse (Part Time) to care for patients emerging from anesthesia after surgery. The role focuses on monitoring vital signs, managing pain, and ensuring patient safety in a fast-paced post-anesthesia setting.

The ideal candidate will have a BSN preferred, BLS certification, a DC RN license, and at least 2 years of PACU experience, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to support safe, efficient recoveries.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred.
• BLS certification required.
• DC RN license required.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in a PACU setting.

Responsibilities

• Monitor patients recovering from anesthesia after surgery.
• Manage pain and ensure patient safety during the immediate post-operative period.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to facilitate smooth recovery for each patient.
• Maintain accurate vital signs and clinical documentation in PACU.
