Job summary

Sibley Memorial Hospital in Washington, DC is seeking a PACU Nurse Manager to lead nursing care, drive quality and safety, and oversee PACU, Pre-op and Pre-Surgical Testing centers. You will partner with administration and physicians to maintain open communication and continuous improvement.

The role requires an MSN (or BSN with MSN progression), a DC RN license, CPR certification, and at least seven years in clinical nursing with leadership experience in PACU.

Qualifications

• Must have a Master of Nursing or be enrolled in MSN progression.
• Current District of Columbia RN license required.
• Current CPR certification required.
• 7+ years of clinical nursing experience; PACU leadership preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assess, plan, direct and evaluate nursing care in the area of responsibility.
• Ensure adherence to hospital policies and support the hospital mission.
• Oversee PACU, Pre-op and Pre-Surgical Testing center operations.
• Collaborate with administration, physicians and multi-disciplinary staff.
