Job summary

Columbus Regional Healthcare System in Whiteville, NC is seeking an experienced PACU Nurse Manager to provide managerial and clinical supervision in the Post Anesthesia Care Unit. You will coordinate bed placement, assign and reallocate staff, enforce policies, and support safe patient care goals across the unit.

Ideal candidates hold NC RN license (compact allowed), ACLS/PALS, and have 3+ years acute care with supervisory experience; BSN or higher preferred.

Qualifications

• Current NC or compact state RN license.
• ACLS and PALS certifications required at the earliest opportunity after hire.
• Preferred: BSN or MSN in Nursing; experience as nursing supervisor in an acute care setting; critical care experience.

Responsibilities

• Provide managerial and clinical supervision for the PACU.
• Coordinate bed placement and staffing assignments as needed to assure safe patient care levels.
• Enforce all policies, procedures and processes; take corrective action when indicated.
• Provide support, direction, education, and counseling to assure patient care goals and customer service.
• Lead program improvement projects using data analysis and trend interpretation.
