Job summary
TJ Samson Community Hospital in Glasgow, KY, seeks a perianesthesia (PACU) RN to provide direct patient care across neonate to geriatric populations. You will monitor the immediate postoperative status, assist with airway management, and communicate with surgeons and anesthesiologists to ensure safety and comfort.
Ideal candidates hold an active KY RN license with BLS, PALS, and ACLS, plus at least one year in PACU.
Qualifications
- Active RN license valid in Kentucky.
- Current BLS, PALS and ACLS certifications.
- Minimum 1 year PACU experience.
- EKG/arrhythmia identification skills.
Responsibilities
- Provide direct patient care from neonate to geriatric in PACU.
- Monitor physiologic status and respond to changes.
- Communicate with surgeon/anesthesiologist continuously.
- Maintain patient safety and documentation.
