Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Clear Lake is seeking a Clinical Nurse Coordinator (CNC) for the Recovery/ PACU to lead nursing care, coordinate staffing, and drive patient-centered outcomes.

The CNC partners with unit leadership to ensure safe, efficient, and high-quality care, while guiding staff development and performance. A BSN with RN licensure and certifications are required, with recovery room experience preferred.

Qualifications

• ACLS, BCLS, and PALS required within 30 days of employment start date.
• Registered Nurse (RN) license required.
• 1 year RN Recovery Room experience in an acute care setting preferred.

Responsibilities

• Assist with admission and discharge processes for efficient throughput and high-quality care.
• Participate in ongoing assessment of nursing care quality.
• Collaborate with managers to foster teamwork and improve outcomes.
• Support a patient-first philosophy and service recovery when needed.
• Help implement nursing strategies like hourly rounds and staff engagement initiatives.
• Provide input on interviewing, staffing, training, and performance evaluations.
