Job summary

The Veterans Health Administration seeks a Licensed Practical Nurse to join a Sterling VA Clinic as part of the Iowa City VA Health Care System. You will support outpatient care, conduct health screenings, room patients, assist with procedures, and administer medications within a collaborative PACT team.

Qualifications

• Active, full, and unrestricted LPN/VN licensure in the United States or D.C.
• English language proficiency required.
• US citizenship as applicable to VA direct patient care positions.

Responsibilities

• Perform structured health screenings and rooming of patients.
• Assist providers with procedures and monitor patient status.
• Administer prescribed medications and immunizations.
• Coordinate clinic flow and participate in PACT team activities.
• Provide patient education and health coaching focused on prevention and wellness.
