Job description

Job Summary

Working alone or as part of a team under intermittent supervision, provides intermediate level support to members of the healthcare community in a complex technical and process environment with a focus on utilizing systems analysis, requirements analysis, project management, technical knowledge, problem solving, organizing and communication skills at an intermediate level.

Essential Functions
  • Intermediate level skills in systems analysis techniques and processes.
  • Intermediate knowledge of corporate and clinical software setup and configuration as used by associated customer base.
  • Intermediate knowledge of corporate usage standards/policies related to end user devices/technology.
  • Technical and functional understanding of corporate standard client devices for purpose of deployment, support and customer education at an Intermediate level.
  • Understanding of network infrastructure and protocols at an intermediate skill level.
  • Dynamic knowledge of current technological developments/trends in area of healthcare with the ability to evaluate emerging technologies and identify their potential impact within the existing environment at an intermediate level.
  • Intermediate level ability to identify technical specifications to meet customer needs including operating systems, network protocols, application configuration.
  • Ability to analyze complex problems and provide solutions using technology and/or process at the Intermediate skill level.
  • Intermediate experience in project management, planning, organizing, and adapting within a multi-department, multi-tasking environment.
  • Serve as escalation point for peer resources, support tasks, project tasks in support of team and organizational goals at a Novice level.
  • Intermediate interpersonal skills, flexibility, and customer service orientation.
  • Practical (intermediate) ability to communicate effectively, both orally and in writing.
  • Practical (intermediate) ability to communicate technical information to non-technical personnel.
Qualifications
  • Associate's Degree/Technical school or equivalent.
  • At least 2 years of relevant experience in the field.
  • Expereince handling high-level clinical hardware.
  • Preferred Bachelor's Degree or equivalent 3 or more years of relevant experience in the field.
  • Experience supporting client, clinical and medical technologies and systems.
  • Experience in event correlation/log analysis, failure analysis/reporting, root cause analysis, risk assessment and troubleshooting.
