Job summary

Pueblo Medical Imaging is seeking an IT Project Manager to lead PACS/RIS initiatives and drive workflow improvements. The role focuses on program management, cross-functional communication, and aligning projects with patient care standards in a healthcare setting.

You will coordinate with clinical teams, vendors, and IT to plan, implement, and optimize imaging operations while ensuring HIPAA compliance and high-quality patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Experience in healthcare imaging preferred.
  • Strong project management and communication skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities across departments.

Responsibilities

  • Coordinate imaging system projects, upgrades, and workflows.
  • Serve as main liaison between clinical staff, vendors, hospitals, and internal departments.
  • Assist leadership with planning, implementation, and optimization of workflows.
  • Lead project timelines, track deliverables, and ensure initiative completion.
  • Support system integrations and collaborate with technical teams.

Position Summary

The PACS/RIS/IT Project Management role focuses heavily on program and project management, process improvement, cross-functional communication, and operational leadership to ensure technology solutions, system enhancements, and strategic initiatives align with organizational goals, regulatory requirements, and patient care standards.

Qualifications
What You’ll Do
  • Coordinate and oversee imaging system-related projects, upgrades, and workflow initiatives
  • Serve as a primary point of contact between clinical staff, vendors, hospitals, and internal departments
  • Assist leadership with planning, implementation, and optimization of operational workflows
  • Lead project timelines, track deliverables, and ensure successful completion of initiatives
  • Support system integrations and operational improvements while collaborating with technical teams
  • Identify workflow challenges and help develop effective process solutions
  • Facilitate communication and training related to new workflows, system changes, and operational updates
  • Maintain documentation, policies, and procedures related to systems and workflow processes
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA regulations and organizational standards
  • Support a culture of collaboration, accountability, and continuous improvement
What We’re Looking For
  • Strong project coordination, organizational, and leadership skills
  • Experience working in healthcare, medical imaging, radiology, or clinical operations preferred
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and communicate effectively across departments
  • Strong problem-solving and process improvement mindset
  • Experience coordinating with vendors, clinical teams, and external partners
  • Excellent interpersonal, training, and communication skills
  • Familiarity with radiology workflows and imaging systems preferred
  • Experience with Intelerad PACS/RIS/DICOM is a plus
  • Reliable transportation and Nevada automobile insurance
