Job summary
New York Imaging (NYI) in Lake Success, NY is seeking an Imaging Systems Administrator to manage PACS/RIS, support radiologists, and ensure data integrity across imaging workflows. You will install, configure, and maintain PACS components, enable HL7, DICOM, XML/HTML interfaces, and collaborate with IT and clinical teams to implement new features while maintaining thorough documentation.

Qualifications
- 2+ years of Radiology IT experience.
- Knowledge of HL7, DICOM, XML, and HTML.
- Experience with PACS systems and related technologies.
- Bachelor's degree in CS or related field preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide training and support for PACS users.
- Configure diagnostic workstations and hanging protocols.
- Administer PACS RIS system, manage users and permissions.
- Install and upgrade PACS system hardware and software.
- Collaborate with IT and other departments on system installs.
- Maintain documentation of PACS configurations.
- Support data transfers and HL7 interface transactions.
