Job summary

U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in Oklahoma City is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist at the GS-11 level.

The role includes serving as a liaison for OI&T and Biomedical Engineering to ensure the PACS system is configured for optimal imaging distribution and integration with related systems. The incumbent will develop and maintain quality control programs for digital imaging, lead a multidisciplinary team, and perform advanced system administration tasks including RIS links, AE

Qualifications

• Must be certified in general radiologic technology by ARRT (R).
• Advanced ARRT certification required for CT/MRI/Mammography duties performed independently.
• Education: completion of a 24-month post-high school diagnostic radiologic technology program, accredited by JRCERT or recognized by DOE.

Responsibilities

• Serve as liaison for PACS with OI&T and biomedical engineering.
• Develop and maintain methods to evaluate and monitor digital imaging and voice recognition systems.
• Lead a radiology team in planning and integrating PACS network elements with related systems.
• Perform complex system administrator functions such as RIS links, AE titles, access management, and DICOM configuration testing.
