Job summary

The U.S. Department of Veterans Affairs in Oklahoma City is seeking a Diagnostic Radiologic Technologist (GS-11) to provide imaging services and lead PACS/network initiatives.

Eligible for the Education Debt Reduction Program (EDRP) with loan-repayment options under VA policy. Required ARRT certification (R); 24-month radiologic technology training; on-the-job training possible for advanced certifications and independent practice in modalities as applicable.

Qualifications

  • Certification in general radiologic technology by ARRT (R).
  • Advanced ARRT certification required for CT/MRI/Mammography duties.
  • Education validated by JRCERT or recognized DOE accreditor.

Responsibilities

  • Quality control technologist and PACS/network lead.
  • Lead multidisciplinary team for strategic PACS integration.
  • Perform complex RIS/system administrator functions and access management.

PACS administrator experience
Digital imaging systems knowledge
Network and security awareness

Education

Certificate or associate degree in diagnostic radiologic technology
