Stony Brook University School of Nursing invites applications for a 0.8-1.0 FTE academic year faculty appointment in the Graduate Program, with the potential to serve as Program Director of the Pediatric Acute Care Nurse Practitioner (PACNP) program. This is a unique chance to educate the next generation of pediatric acute care providers within a nationally recognized academic health center.

The successful candidate will contribute to teaching and curriculum development within the PACNP program

Qualifications

• Valid Pediatric Acute-Care NP NYS and National Certification (PACNP).
• Valid NY State Professional Nurse License.
• Recent Nurse Practitioner experience in Pediatric Acute Care.
• Doctoral degree or in progress; earned or in progress.
• Experience precepting NP students; teaching experience.
• Leadership or supervisory experience.

Responsabilités

• Provide academic oversight for the PACNP program and curriculum.
• Lead program evaluation and continuous improvement with accreditation alignment.
• Ensure program quality and compliance with evaluation plans and benchmarks.
• Collaborate with faculty, clinical partners, and school leadership to support student success.
• Maintain workload support and an administrative stipend during the appointment.
