Job summary
The Stony Brook University School of Nursing invites applications for a 0.8–1.0 FTE faculty appointment within our Graduate Program, with the opportunity to serve as Program Director of the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program. This role empowers an experienced Family Nurse Practitioner to shape advanced practice education in a nationally recognized health center.
Ideal candidates have recent family practice NP experience, leadership potential, and a commitment to graduate nursing education.
Qualifications
- Valid Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) NYS and National Certification.
- Valid NY State Professional Nurse License.
- Recent Nurse Practitioner experience in Family Practice.
Responsibilities
- Provide leadership as Program Director for the Family Nurse Practitioner (FNP) program.
- Oversee curriculum development, outcomes, and accreditation readiness.
- Guide program evaluation and continuous improvement with faculty and partners.
- Collaborate with clinical partners to support student success and program growth.
