Overview

The primary purpose of the Packout Operator position is to packout products, meet production and quality goals in a safe work environment.

Responsibilities

• Meets regular and reliable work-site attendance requirements in order to perform the job and meet productivity standards.
• Inspects fabric, cut wipers, garments, bags and other packaging items, as they are used, for conformance to specification.
• Packout finished good products according the order requirements per the product drawing.
• Use a lift assist device to help lift and palletize heavy finished good boxes from the conveyors onto the pallets.
• Notifies Cleanroom Outside Lead of any non-conformance.
• Develops knowledge of cleanroom protocol and adheres to the cleanliness requirements of the cleanroom processes.
• Sorts, stacks, counts, and packages dried products according to product drawing, in accordance with established quality and productivity standards.
• Participates in periodic training programs regarding safety, product specifications; quality; and operation.
• Participates and works within ISO 9001-2015 quality standards guidelines in accordance with Contec's quality goals.

Employee must occasionally be able to remain in a stationary position. Employee must be able to move, traverse. Employees will move around the packout area to different work stations. The Employee must be able to position self (to), move. The employee must frequently transport and/or move up to 30 pounds and push/pull/lift up to 40 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, color vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Employees will be cross trained in other areas and will also need to meet the following requirements:

Work performed by the Cleanroom Outside Lead is done in an air-conditioned environment. Employee is required to wear steel toed shoes, hairnet, beardnet, and safety glasses that will be provided by Contec. Cleanroom Packout Operators will use a lift assist device to help lift and palletize heavy finished good boxes from the conveyors onto the pallets.
