Overview

The primary purpose of the OTW Attendant position is to perform assembly of various parts into finished parts for the customer. This can includelids, trollys,and mechanical part assembly.

Responsibilities

• Meets regular and reliable work-site attendance requirements in order to perform the job and meet productivity standards.
• Reading and interpreting product drawings, Control Plans, and Shop Orders as necessary to complete production.
• Completes production paperwork.
• Performance of equipment setup.
• Orders raw components through computer system.
• Making, issuing and closing of shop order in computer system.
• Performance of in-process inspections as required.
• Notifies Cutting Lead of any non-conformance.
• Cleaning of the manufacturing work area as necessary or as required by maintenance work order.
• Packaging of product to specifications.
• Participates in periodic training programs regarding safety, product specifications; quality; and operation.
• Participates and works within ISO 9001-2015 quality standards guidelines in accordance with Contec’s quality goals.
• Others may be assigned.

Work Environment

Worked performed by theOTWOperator is done in an air- conditioned environment. All individuals must wear safety glasses, steel toed shoes, hairnets, beardnets, and nitrile gloves which are all provided by Contec. Personal body products that must not be worn in this cell is jewelry of any kind.
