Contec Inc. is seeking an Area Sales Manager I in Raleigh, NC to develop relationships with end-user customers and distributor partners in the Cleanroom market. You will drive sales, expand market reach, and maintain a high level of customer service.
Responsibilities include presenting products, traveling within the territory up to 75%, and coordinating with Product Management, Marketing and Technical Services to support customers. Proactive CRM usage is required.
The Area Sales Manager (ASM) I is responsible for developing and maintaining relationships with end-user customers and distributor partners to drive sales and expand market reach. The ASM I must demonstrate strong interpersonal skills and a deep understanding of the Cleanroom market, including distribution channels. The ASM I must be adept at managing multiple accounts, identifying new sales opportunities, and delivering exceptional customer service.

Bachelor's degree (BA. or BS.) from a four-year accredited college or university; three (3) to five (5) years of industry-related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.

be exposed to a manufacturing environment while working at a customer site where the noise level may be moderate to loud. In this environment, the associate may occasionally work near moving mechanical parts and may be required to don personal protective equipment (PPE) per site protocols.
Up to 75% business travel, including overnight travel, may be required in any given year.
