Job summary

SERVPRO is seeking 1–2 Contents and Packout Technicians to join our team in Arnold, MD. This hands-on role involves packing, moving, and storing belongings after fires or water damage, with on-site attention to safety and customer care.

No restoration experience is required; training is provided. Pay is $20–$25/hour, full-time, Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM, with overtime opportunities and benefits including health, dental, 401(k) matching, paid time off, and uniforms.

Qualifications

• Willing to perform physically demanding tasks and lifting throughout the day.
• Driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Able to work well with a team and follow instructions.
• Comfortable working in customers' homes and businesses.
• No restoration experience required; training provided.
• Previous experience in restoration/moving/warehouse is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Pack and protect household and business contents.
• Move furniture, boxes, electronics and other belongings.
• Photograph, label and inventory items.
• Load and unload trucks.
• Transport contents to and from our facility.
• Clean items affected by fire, smoke or water damage.
• Organize and store customer belongings.
• Return and unpack contents when customers move back in.
• Keep trucks, equipment and work areas clean and organized.
• Work with the team to complete jobs safely and efficiently.

Packout / Contents Technician – Moving & Restoration

Location: Arnold, MD

Pay: $20–$25/hour + overtime

Full-Time | Monday–Friday | 7:00 AM–4:00 PM

SERVPRO is looking to add 1–2 people to our Contents and Packout team.

Our team helps customers after fires, water damage and other property losses. When a home or business is damaged, we carefully pack, move and store the customer's belongings while the property is being restored. We also clean items when needed and return everything once the property is ready.

This is a hands‑on, physical position. Experience in moving, warehouse work, cleaning, construction or restoration can translate well to this role.

No restoration experience is required. We will train the right person.
