Job summary

SERVPRO Annapolis is seeking a dependable Packout Technician to join our Contents and Packout team in Annapolis, MD. This full-time, on-site role runs Monday–Friday, 7:00 AM–4:00 PM with pay of $19–$23 per hour and overtime opportunities.

You will pack, move, document, and help restore customers’ belongings after fires, water damage, or other losses. Training is provided, with opportunities to advance to crew lead; a strong work ethic and teamwork are essential.

Responsibilities

• Pack and protect customers' personal belongings following water, fire, and other property damage
• Carefully move furniture, boxes, electronics, artwork, and household contents
• Inventory, photograph, label, and document items before they are removed from a property
• Load and unload trucks safely and efficiently
• Transport contents between customer properties, our facility, and storage locations
• Assist with cleaning and restoration of salvageable contents
• Organize and maintain customer contents while in storage
• Assist with packbacks and return customers' belongings to their homes or businesses
• Help set up and break down jobs efficiently
• Protect customers' homes and belongings while working
• Maintain clean and organized trucks, equipment, warehouse, and work areas
• Follow company procedures for handling fragile, valuable, or specialty items
• Communicate professionally with customers and other team members
• Follow safety procedures and use equipment properly
• Help the team complete jobs efficiently and with a high level of care
• Be available for overtime when workload and emergency jobs require it

Position Overview

SERVPRO is looking for a dependable, hard-working Packout Technician to join our Contents and Packout team.

Our Packout team helps customers after fires, water damage, and other property losses by carefully packing, moving, cleaning, storing, and returning their personal belongings.

This is a hands-on position for someone who enjoys working with a team, staying active, solving problems, and helping customers during difficult situations.

Previous restoration, moving, warehouse, cleaning, or construction experience is helpful, but we are willing to train the right person.
