Job summary

Monterey Mushrooms, LLC in Texas is seeking a Packing Supervisor to support the Packing Manager and Forepersons in day-to-day packing operations. You will help ensure on-time order fulfillment with a quality product and maintain safety and GMP/HACCP standards.

The role requires a high school diploma, 2–3 years of supervisory experience in packing, basic computer and math skills, and the ability to operate a forklift if needed.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent is required.
• 2-3 years of supervisory experience in packing.
• Familiar with packing processes and equipment; capable of meeting customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Work with Packing Coordinator to manage and control a daily schedule of personnel to meet Packing/Shipping needs.
• Manage and maintain CAS Pack Control Database and all CAS functions.
• Monitor CAS & JDE Business Systems to ensure all work orders are maintained and current.
• Direct daily operations to maximize productivity and ensure timely packaging with truck departures.
• Coach team members, provide feedback, and take corrective action as needed.
• Enforce GMP/HACCP and safety rules; participate in safety meetings.
• Train and orient new packing staff and ensure timely performance reviews.
