Job summary

Torrey Holistics is seeking a Packing and Dispatch Specialist to ensure precise prep and flawless labeling for on-time deliveries. You will select packaging materials, pack items securely, create shipping labels, and verify IDs on every parcel.

Own the Final Step Before DeliveryJoin us as a Packing and Dispatch Specialist and turn precise prep and flawless labeling into on-time arrivals.Schedule7:00 AM – 3:30 PMImpact AreasSelect packaging materials—boxes, containers, cushioning—to match product specs and shipping conditions.Pack, pad, wrap, and seal to prevent in-transit damage.Confirm order quantities and perform quality checks before anything is boxed.Create and apply shipping labels; verify correct identification on every parcel.Use carrier platforms (UPS, FedEx, etc.) to produce manifests and track shipments.Book pickups and coordinate delivery windows with carriers and freight forwarders.Stage outbound goods for safe, efficient loading by priority.Record contents, tracking numbers, and paperwork for inventory accuracy and customer support.Partner with the warehouse to sync packaging with order fulfillment schedules.Communicate shipment status, resolve questions, and escalate issues as needed.Maintain a 6S workspace for safety and efficiency.What It TakesQuality control focus and a safety-first approach.Strong dexterity and hand–eye coordination for small components.Reliable attendance, meticulous attention to detail, and organized work habits.Education & ExperienceHigh school diploma or GED.Proven background as a Shipping/Packaging Clerk or equivalent, with solid understanding of packaging practices, shipping procedures, and documentation.Ability to thrive in a fast-paced setting.Knowledge of safety protocols and adherence to established guidelines.Physical capability: stand for extended periods, lift heavy objects, and repeat tasks safely.Core ProficienciesShipping/ReceivingPackaging ExperienceHigh School / GEDExperience in a Manufacturing EnvironmentBasic Computer Skills
