Job summary

Inovar Packaging Group is seeking a Shipping & Warehouse Associate to support packing, labeling, and shipping customer orders in a fast-paced production environment. The role emphasizes accuracy, safety, and teamwork to ensure timely deliveries.

Familiarity with UPS and FedEx shipping systems is helpful, as is the ability to lift and move materials and operate packing equipment. This 1st shift position runs 8am–4pm.

Qualifications

• Basic math and ability to read a ruler for measurements.
• Strong attention to detail and accuracy in packing and labeling.
• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions and wear PPE.

Responsibilities

• Prepare, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and on time
• Apply core tags correctly and ensure carton labels are straight and legible
• Perform quality checks before packing: verify item numbers, quantities, and product quality
• Maintain clean, neat, and safe work area and follow safety policies
• Process shipping paperwork and required documentation
• Utilize shipping systems to generate labels and track shipments (experience a plus)

Job Summary

The Shipping & Warehouse Associate is responsible for assisting in preparing, packing, and shipping customer orders while maintaining high standards of quality, efficiency, and safety. This role requires strong attention to detail, physical stamina, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Familiarity with UPS and FedEx shipping systems is helpful to ensure timely and accurate shipments.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare, pack, and ship customer orders accurately and on time
• Apply core tags correctly and ensure carton labels are straight, legible, and accurate
• Perform quality checks prior to packing, including:
  • Verifying item numbers
  • Confirming shipment quantities match orders
  • Inspecting product quality before packing
• Ensure cartons are packed in a clean, neat, and professional manner
• Verify shipping information and resolve discrepancies before shipment
• Process shipping paperwork and required documentation
• Cut core to size specifications
• Utilize shipping systems (UPS, FedEx, and internal platforms) to generate labels and track shipments (experience a plus)
• Verify receipts and shipping documentation for accuracy prior to completing transactions
• Maintain a clean, organized, and safe work area
• Follow all safety policies and wear required personal protective equipment (PPE)
• Perform other duties as assigned

Physical Requirements

• Standing and walking approximately 60% of the workday
• Sitting approximately 30% of the workday
• Repetitive lifting, bending, and movement
• Ability to safely lift up to 50 lbs.
• Ability to stand for extended periods of time
