Job summary

Trinidad Benham Corp in La Vergne, TN is seeking a Packer/Stacker for 1st shift to assist in setup and maintain proper machine operation while ensuring top-quality retail packaging. The role emphasizes safety, efficiency, and adherence to GMP and SQF standards.

Responsibilities include start-ups, changeovers, packaging on pallets, recording output, and maintaining sanitation around equipment. Training provided; growth opportunities exist within a worker-owned, long-established company.

Qualifications

• Past packaging or machine operation experience preferred.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds and handle repetitive motions.
• Willing to work any shift and follow GMP and safety protocols.

Responsibilities

• Assist in safe start-ups at the beginning of each shift.
• Perform prompt start-ups, shutdowns and changeovers between products.
• Stack or pack product into cartons or onto pallets neatly.
• Record production output and downtime accurately.
• Maintain sanitation around machines following plant GMPs.
• Adhere to SQF and food safety requirements.
• Carry out additional duties as assigned by supervision.
