Job summary

Qualifications

• Requires basic math and reading skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspects packaged items and alerts machine operator or shift supervisor of any defects.
• Verifies code, dates, and price.
• Examines package for proper seal.
• Reports any and all conditions that could lead to contaminated product.
• Packs product into cartons, cans and specialty containers and places them onto skids/conveyors.
• Prepares items for production (cans/labels/trays/rework items).
• Maintains an organized and sanitary work environment following OSHA, FDA and GMPs.
• Must be able to lift up to 40 lbs.
• Works proactively in a cross-functional team.
• Other duties as assigned by supervisor
