Job summary

Utz Quality Foods in Hanover, PA is hiring a Packer to join our manufacturing team. You will inspect and pack products into boxes, cartons, cans, and specialty containers at the High Street facility, contributing to a fast-paced, quality-driven operation.

This role requires the ability to stand 100% of the shift, lift up to 50 lbs, and work with scanning equipment. You will help ensure food safety, assist with setup, and support sanitation duties while collaborating with a dedicated team.

Qualifications

• Requires basic math and reading skills.
• Ability to fluently communicate in and read English or Spanish.
• Must be willing and able to stand 100% of the time.
• Knowledge of product quality and production processes.

Responsibilities

• Inspects packaged items and alerts machine operator or shift supervisor of any changes.
• Responsible for quality and food safety tasks for their position.
• Moves product from packing area to warehouse by pulling jacks filled with product.
• Accurately scans finished product into inventory with use of scanning equipment.
• Sets up mats and cartons for packers before production begins each day.
• Prepares packing area when packaging different products.
• Helps relieve for breaks and lunches.
