Sysco is hiring a Packer to visually inspect finished goods on conveyor lines, report defects, and confirm counts. The role includes assisting with machine cleaning and a mandatory one-hour rotation to maintain efficiency and accuracy in packing operations.

No prior experience is required; high school diploma or GED is acceptable. The position emphasizes safety, teamwork, and adherence to quality standards in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Monitor conveyor lines for quality defects and report issues.
• Check label placement, code accuracy, expiration dates, and bottle integrity.
• Relieve other Packers at shift changes as needed.
• Rotate tasks hourly to maintain pace with the filling line.
• Assist Operators with machine cleaning at start-up and after spills.
• Keep area and equipment clean; report safety hazards and shortages.
