A day in the life...

As a Packer, you play a key role in ensuring our high-quality candy is perfectly prepared for our customers. You will work at the end of the production line, carefully handling the final stages of packaging. Success in this role requires teamwork, adaptability, and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment. Your attention to detail and collaboration will help maintain our commitment to excellence. This is a Temporary position with the opportunity for full-time employment based on performance and business needs.

What you will be doing...

• Packing only first quality candy.


• Requesting, receiving, securing, maintaining, packing, and delivering product (raw and finished) per Russell Stover guidelines.


• Demonstrating a high level of manual dexterity.


• Understanding specifications for each type of product as established by Russell Stover Chocolates and recognize deviations from those specifications.


• Perform clean-up activities as assigned.


• Conform to rules.


• Control waste on the line.


• Perform other duties as assigned.


• Notify leads or supervisor if inferior candy, wrong bases, incorrect description, incomplete boxes or other pertinent issues.


• Adhering to Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP) guidelines to ensure product quality and uphold food safety standards.


• Learning to Identify and address potential food safety hazards, process deviations, or non-conformities, while maintaining proactive communication with supervisors.


• Documenting food safety and quality procedures, maintaining detailed records of monitoring, verification, and corrective actions.

• The ideal candidate will have excellent communication skills and the ability to speak, read, and write English fluently, with or without an accommodation.


• Able to lift up to 50 lbs


• Able to routinely and frequently stand, stoop, bend and lift overhead.


• Ability to stand on hard surfaces.
