Job summary

CATALYST NUTRACEUTICALS in Buford, GA is seeking a dedicated Packer to produce high quality powder products in the packaging line. You will start up and shut down the line, read the work order, and ensure correct components are used according to specifications.

You will follow SOPs and cGMP requirements, assist with changeovers, load and unload components, and participate in safety training. You must be able to lift up to 75 pounds with assistance and operate material handling equipment.

Responsibilities

• Handle the startup and shutdown of the line and various equipment in the packaging line.
• Read and understand the work order and specifications to ensure correct components are used for production.
• Follow all SOP's and cGMP requirements.
• load and unload components to various equipment in the packaging line.
• assist in changeovers, washing and sanitization of production lines.
• Learn the various equipment in the line to ensure proper use.
• Participate in all applicable safety and food safety training and wear proper personal protective equipment as needed.
• Spot check product to ensure that it has proper labels, presentable packaging, proper master case label with relevant information.
• Maintain a clean workspace by assisting in housekeeping duties to minimize food safety risks.
• Able to lift 30 pounds repeatedly, 50 pounds frequently and 75 + pounds with assistance, daily.
• Use material handling equipment such as electric pallet jacks.
