Job summary

Debbie’s Staffing is recruiting for Packer Operator Associates for our client located in Kannapolis, NC. The shift runs 6:00pm-6:30am on a 2,2,3 schedule with a pay rate of $19.00 per hour and weekly pay.

This temp-to-hire position requires high school diploma or equivalent and offers an opportunity to advance within the plant environment. Essential duties include ensuring correct materials follow the production schedule, monitoring packaging flow, setting up equipment, maintaining quality

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• 1 year of experience with production equipment preferred.
• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Attention to detail and ability to work with others.
• Ability to work in cold/hot, wet and noisy conditions.

Responsibilities

• Ensure materials are correct based on the production schedule for all products being packaged.
• Monitor and inspect the flow of cases to identify defective packaging.
• Ensure proper set-up of equipment and processes.
• Achieve quality metrics.
• Inspect equipment prior to use to ensure proper setup and alignment.
• Fill out required paperwork accurately.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly work area.
• Adhere to GMPs and health, food safety, HAACP, allergen and sanitation procedures.
• Be accountable for safety, quality, and service in area of responsibility.
• Uphold Plant Vision and Code of Conduct.
• Assist with other duties as assigned.

Essential Functions:

• Uphold the Plant Vision and Code of Conduct.
• Other duties as assigned.

Successful Candidate Qualifications:

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• Strong mechanical aptitude, analytical and problem-solving skills.
• 1 years’ experience with production equipment and processes preferred.
• Must have attention to detail, and work well with other departments and individuals.
• Ability to bend, kneel, climb steps, and stand for long periods of time.
• Must be reliable and dependable.
• Must have reliable transportation.
• Ability to work in cold/hot, wet and noisy conditions.
