Job summary

Land O'Lakes, Inc. is seeking a Packer Operator for the 2nd shift (3:00 PM – 11:30 PM) to join our manufacturing team. You will operate machinery and packaging processes that transform raw materials into final high-quality products for customers.

This role requires reliability, basic computer and math skills, and the ability to read and follow English instructions. You will work overtime and weekends as needed and contribute to a safe, clean, and collaborative work environment.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• 1 year or more of work experience in any industry.
• Able to read, write, comprehend, and follow English instructions.
• Willingness to learn new skills and troubleshoot.
• Strong collaboration and communication skills.
• Basic computer and math skills.

Responsibilities

• Complies with all safety processes and practices.
• Shows up on time, completes tasks by deadlines, and adapts to changes quickly.

• Ensures quality standards and SOPs are followed during production.

Job description

Packer Operator - 2nd Shift

Pay: $26.45 per hour plus Shift Differential: $1.00 per hour (if applicable)

Shift & Working Hours: 2nd Shift; 3:00 PM to 11:30 PM; Weekends/Overtime/Holidays as needed.

In this role, you will be a key member of our Land O’Lakes, Inc. manufacturing team, performing front-line production processes that add value and quality to the inputs and creation of final high-quality products. You will gain skills and experience of taking raw materials to produce our final products for customers. This will include operating machinery and equipment, packaging the final product.

Key Responsibilities

Required Experience and Skills

Preferred Experience

• 1+ year of manufacturing work experience
• Machine operation and/or forklift experience

Physical Requirements

• Able to lift/carry up to 50 pounds
• Frequent movement including walking, standing, bending/stooping, turning, twisting, pushing, pulling, raising arms, lifting, climbing and other active movements
• Performing duties while wearing personal protective equipment
• Working in temperature zones that include cold and/or hot environments for extended periods and may include areas where dust and chemicals are present
