Job summary

Pregis LLC is seeking a Material Packer to join our manufacturing team in Conover, NC. You will assist line operators, perform quality checks, and ensure accurate packaging according to customer specs.

The role requires learning the four packing stations and following safety and housekeeping standards. Responsibilities include reading work instructions, completing QA training, documenting counts, and assisting with rework as needed.

Qualifications

• Reads and understands the job description and work instructions.
• Completes EverTec Material Packing Quality Assurance training.
• Performs visual quality inspections per QA program.
• Follows escalation process for non-conforming product.

Responsibilities

• Ensure product is packed according to customer requirements (correct boxes, quantities, labels).
• Maintain accurate counts and records for good product and waste.
• Support line operator tasks to maintain efficient packing per SOP.
• Work across four stations: pallet stacker, box making, mailer packer, and utility packer.
• Assist in rework and non-standard tasks after proper training.
• Maintain area cleanliness and safety in accordance with procedures.
