Job summary

Pregis is seeking a Material Packer in Aurora, IL to support the manufacturing floor. You will inspect for quality, ensure correct boxes, counts, labels, and coordinate with line operators to maintain a safe, efficient packing process.

The role requires reading and following work instructions, completing QA training, and performing tasks across multiple packing stations. Overtime may be required; safety rules and housekeeping are emphasized to uphold high product quality.

Qualifications

• Read and understand job description and work instructions.
• Complete EverTec Material Packing QA training.
• Perform visual quality inspections as per QA program.
• Follow Quality Assurance escalation for non-conforming product.
• Ensure packaging meets customer requirements and correct labeling.

Responsibilities

• Read and understand job description and work instructions.
• Complete EverTec Material Packing QA training program.
• Effectively performs visual quality inspections as required by EverTec QA program.
• Implement QA escalation process for non-conforming product.
• Ensure product is packed per customer requirements with correct boxes, counts and labels.
• Maintain accurate records of counts and waste.
• Adhere to safety procedures and housekeeping; support monthly training when needed.
• Work at all four Packer stations and assist in rework and non-standard tasks.
• Assist line operators in wash ups, makereadies and startups.
• Maintain clean area and follow employee handbook policies.
