Job summary

Shamrock Foods Company is seeking a production support associate for our ground beef line in Arizona. You will unload and dump materials, label and date stamp finished patties, and palletize cases to specifications. You will count, log and track rework, assist with equipment setup and breakdown, and maintain clean work areas.

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and holidays is required. The role emphasizes safety, accuracy, and reliable attendance within a fast-paced production environment at

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• 1–3 months related experience preferred.
• Ability to operate electric pallet jack or forklift preferred.
• Ability to understand policies, procedures, instructions and safety rules written in English.
• Ability to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Responsibilities

• Unload and dump grinding raw materials and products from pallets, skids or trucks in grinders and blenders according to specifications.
• Label and date stamp all finished cases of patties.
• Palletize labeled cases according to specifications.
• Count finished cases and record on logs.
• Separate rework and place in bins for rework.
• Track weights of rework product and record on forms; clean work areas.
• Assist in other areas of ground beef production, including equipment setup/breakdown, box making, casing, labeling, stacking, weighing, and recordkeeping.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job description

Shift Details:

Sunday to Thursday; 10:00 AM to Finish

Unloads and dumps grinding raw materials and products from pallets, skids or trucks in grinders and blenders and labels and date stamps all finished cases of patties according to specifications. Must be flexible and willing to work the demands of the department which are subject to evenings, weekends, and holidays.

• Palletizes all labeled cases according to specifications.
• Counts all finished cases and records them on appropriate logs.
• Separates rework from paper and places them in bins for rework.
• Tracks all weights of rework product and records on appropriate forms.Cleans around work areas.
• Assists in all other areas of ground beef production line, including equipment setup and breakdown, box making, casing, labeling, stacking, weighing, recordkeeping, etc.
• Regular and reliable attendance.
• Other duties may be assigned.

Qualifications:

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• 1 to 3 months related experience, preferred.
• Must have the ability running an electric pallet jack or forklift, preferred.
• Must be able to understand all policies, procedures, instructions, rules and regulations (including all safety training and safety information) associated with this position which are written in English
• Must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.

Physical Demands:

• The employee must regularly lift and/or move up to 100 pounds, frequently lift and/or move up to 50 pounds, and occasionally lift and/or move up to 25 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include the ability to observe surroundings, objects, and labels at both close and far distances.
