Job summary

Sun Chemical Corporation is seeking a Packer/Laborer to monitor and operate both manual and highly automated production equipment. The role involves packing large bags, assisting with various processes, and ensuring product traceability while maintaining safety and cleanliness.

The position requires a high school diploma or GED, mechanical aptitude, and the ability to work independently on 12-hour day or night shifts.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred, or pass a pre-employment screening assessment.
• Mechanical ability is helpful.
• Ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor manual and highly automated production equipment.
• Pack 25 kg (55 lbs.) bags (up to 600 in a 12-hour period).
• Pack 250-600 kg bags (550-1320 lbs).
• Maintain cleanliness and organization of work areas.
• Assist with ancillary processes and during process changes.
• Take samples and ensure traceability of product throughout the process.
